Mr. Jordan grew up in Northwest Illinois, and attended Stockton High School.  Mr. Jordan graduated from Stockton High School in 2005 and attended Highland Community College, Northern Illinois University, Greenville University, University of Illinois Springfield, and Western Illinois University.

Mr. Jordan taught High School P.E./Driver's Education for six years at West Prairie High School in Sciota, IL and is in his 8th year of administration.  Mr. Jordan came to Donovan School District in 2019 after serving two years as a High School Assistant Principal and three years as an Elementary School Principal in Illinois.

Mr. Jordan has served as a High School Varsity boys basketball coach, High School assistant football coach, member of various committees (SIP, Handbook, Safety, Building Leadership, P.B.I.S., etc).

Mr. Jordan is married to his wife, Sarah, and they have a 6 year old son who attends Donovan Elementary School and identical twin girls that are 4 years old.

Some of Mr. Jordan's work at Donovan Jr. Sr. High School includes starting P.B.I.S. positive behavior interventions and supports building-wide within the school.  These include monthly assemblies that highlight and recognize the positives and accomplishments of our students and staff.  Principal Jordan has also brought Genius Hour to Donovan where students have the opportunity to choose what activities and what teacher students would like to learn from once a month.  The curriculum has been updated with a new math series for 6-12 students in 2020 and supports have been implemented to help with math student achievement within the building.  Improving communication and highlighting the positive happenings of the Donovan School District has been a point of emphasis through Facebook.
