    -Can follow words left to right (tracking), follow words top to bottom and follow page by page

     -Draw a picture and tell a related story

    MATHEMATICS

    -Ordinals 1-5 (first, second etc.)

     -Recognize an AB pattern and an ABB pattern

    Reading

     -Identify all sounds and letters 

    -Sound out 3-4 letter words with vowels covered

    -Read sight words – 32 words 

    -Answer comprehension questions about a story
     

    Writing / Language 

    -Write 1-3 sentences using sight words and phonetic spelling 

    -Know when to use a period, question mark or an exclamation mark 

    -Know that a sentence begins with a capital and ends with a period, question mark or an exclamation mark 

    -Identify an adjective, verb and noun 

    -Write upper and lower case letters for each sound

    -Publish a simple document – Goal 3 sentences
