A little about myself…..
Professionally, I spent my first twelve years in education teaching physical education at Pontiac Junior High School. During that time, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to coach both junior high and high school boy’s baseball, girls volleyball, girl’s basketball, and girl’s volleyball. I’ve spent the last ten years as building principal in Ottawa, Illinois. The first two years at Rutland Grade School and the past eight years at Wallace Grade School. I’m thankful for the relationships built and proud of the work we’ve done together for students.
My wife, Amy, is a nurse in the orthopedic office at OSF St. James Hospital in Pontiac, Illinois where we’ve lived the past 16 years. Our oldest daughter, Kailey, has recently moved to Munster, Indiana and works in Westmont, Illinois. Mackenzie, our youngest, will be a freshman at Pontiac Township High School. We spend a lot of time together following Mackenzie in sports, attending Cub games, and anything else that gets us outside in the sun.
