Mr. Jordan taught High School P.E./Driver's Education for 6 years in west central Illinois at West Prairie High School, and is in his 6th year of administration.  Mr. Jordan came to Donovan School District in 2019 after serving two years as an High School Assistant Principal and three years as an Elementary School Principal.

Some of Mr. Jordan's work at Donovan Jr. Sr. High School includes starting P.B.I.S. positive behavior interventions and supports building wide within the school.  These include monthly assemblies that highlight and recognize the positives and accomplishments of our students and staff.  Principal Jordan has also brought Genius Hour to Donovan where students have the opportunity to choose what activities and what teacher students would like to learn from once a month.  Curriculum has been updated with a new math series for 6-12 students in 2020 and supports have been implemented to help with math student achievement within the building.  Improving communication has been a point of emphasis through Facebook and a district newsletter.
