Subject: Important Notice: Early Release Schedule for September 1st – September 4th
Dear Donovan Families,
This is Dr. Kristin Elliott, Superintendent of Donovan CUSD #3. Thank you for a great start to the school year!
Due to the excessive heat forecast for this week, all Donovan Schools will operate on an early release schedule starting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1st, and continuing through Friday, September 4th.
Dismissal times for the remainder of the week are as follows:
Donovan Elementary School: 1:22 p.m.
Donovan Jr. / Sr. High School: 1:30 p.m.
Due to having multiple transportation routes going on at the same time and our early out dismissal the rest of this week, we will need to make a few adjustments to our AM and PM routes this week.
Route #1 (Martinton Country Route) and Route #3 (Martinton Town Route) will be combined for the AM & PM route on Wednesday, September 2nd, Thursday, September 3rd and Friday, September, 4th. During this time, Route #1 will be pushed up 15-20 minutes in the AM and may cause your student to be dropped off later than normal in the PM.
Please make the necessary arrangements for your children's afternoon transportation and supervision. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to keep our students and staff safe and comfortable.
These route changes are not permanent, and are ONLY for the listed days this week. Thank you for your understanding with these transportation changes and your continued support of Donovan CUSD #3 Schools.
